About Your Appointment

Appointments

calendarThe surgery is open from  8:30am for booking appointments. We do have some appointments that can be booked 3 months in advance. It would help our receptionist if you rang after 11:30am to book these forward appointments.

Our appointments are for 10 minutes each. Longer appointments are available by arrangements.

Please book a separate appointment for each member of the family requiring to see the GP.

If you need to be seen at short notice, you will be offered an appointment within 24 – 48 hours. Unfortunately, you may not be able to see the GP of your choice.

We do have a number of 5 minutes emergency appointments bookable on the day. These 5-minute appointments may not be with the GP or your choice

Short notice appointments should be used for acute conditions and not for ongoing problems

If you cannot keep your appointment, please telephone the surgery and it can be given to someone else

In line with government’s extended hours policy we offer NON-URGENT PRE BOOKABLE APPOINTMENTS, Tuesday evening, 6:30 – 7:45.   These appointments are offered after surgery closes and are for patients who genuinely cannot get to the surgery during normal working  hours. Other services such as collection of medication, blood test etc will not be available.

PLEASE NOTE

If you do have a medical emergency please do not come to the surgery between 6:30pm – 7:45pm. Telephone 0844 8151362 and your call will be directed to the Devon Doctors On Call. In the event of a life threatening condition, please dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.
